For Te Kinga today we made a story with a song and a image credits and link in the post.

Multi modal reading

In Te Kinga we have been doing a project called multi modal reading we have been doing it for this term we have been given multiple
options we are usually given a few videos and we watch them then we gather information from them.
Then a another task is we have to answers  some questions from the options. this week we have been learning about toilet paper. I really enjoy doing this it is also helping me with gathering my information.

Inspired writing

For Te Kinga class we have been doing online inspiredwriting or writing about favourite thing about lockdown.

Lockdown

My favourite thing about the lock down has been riding my bike and spending time in the native bush on our farm.

Dad has been teaching me how to operate a 4 ton digger and I made a big walk through ditch for mums horses.

We have a podocarp forest on our farm. Dad and I have

been working on making tracks through the bush so

we can ride our bikes through it.

I have been going out to the forest searching for fungi because Mum photographs it. I ride my motorbike through the paddocks to get to the bush which is great as there is heaps of mud about.

There's heaps of cool birds in the bush too, fantails, robins, wood pigeons and black fantails.

History of Tom as a tunnel digger

 In the year 1923 Tom and his buddies were finishing a day of banging a
few more holes in the nearly finished tunnel. His shift was almost done 
when he heard a sound of people digging on the other side, everyone
gave a big hit and the wall collapsed. After a big cloud of dust swept
through the tunnel they met the people from the other side. 

After they walked to the end of the tunnel and got a ride with a local horse
carriage person named Lil. She asked where they wanted to go and the
answer to that was the pub. 

Five horses were used to pull a carriage and the road was rough and
jagged so they had to take a horse.  It was a bumpy ride but they got
there safe and sound. Everyone got drunk that night, they even put a
bit of bacon throw a mangle!

In our class we have been doing science experiments for this one we did pendulum science. First there is the normal one then the one were we did painting. Here is mine.

How long does it take to stop swinging depending on its mass.

Aim/Hypothesis:

We think that objects with more mass will go for longer

Results 

This is how long it took for each of the objects to stop singing.

Conclusion: It is true objects with more mass do swing for longer

Science Report Pendulum Painting

Aim/Hypothesis: 

Our hypothesis was that it was going to be easy to make a pendulum painting device. Our aim was to make one.

Results:

First we tried using paint but it didn’t work because it was too watery.
So we tried again but the hole was too small. So the paint was to thick to fit
threw the hole or we are just unlucky. We tried to make a bigger hole and
the paint was still to thick. So we tried flour and it didn't go through the
funnel so we gave up.

Conclusion:

In the end our hypothesis was wrong and we didn’t achieve our aim
nothing worked. Maybe next time we could plan more and come up with
a better mix.

This term at lake brunner school te kingag  we were learning about child labour there is a company
called fair trade.They are a great company that only treat kids with pure respect.Only do fair trades their

label looks like this so if you see know that they one of the best companies still selling.

poems were about child slavery they were awesome to make all of te kinga had a great time

The magical world

Long ago, in an unbelievable world, there lived two siblings

named Hansel and Gretel. They had the meanest parents ever, and the family didn't have enough food for all of them, so the parents took their children to a wizard to be killed.

They walked them through the gleaming forest to an old mean wizard who placed them in a cage. But one day when he opened the cage to feed them, they got out and cut his hand off and ran into the forest. But they wanted more revenge on that wizard because he had killed their uncle.

After they escaped they were were cold and hungry and found some bright red berries they saw on some bushes in the forest. But they were not any berries, these berries gave them superpowers. The superpowers were strength, speed, lightning, invisibility and to be able make fire with their hands.

Hansel said ”let's are going to get revenge on that wizard and our parents “whaw whaw” So they took their energetic bodies to action. Well they started at the parents they struck their house with lightning and the parents and they causing the parents to run in the bushes like scared little ants. And they chased them as a cheetah chases its prey.They arrived at the wizards and they got in the boat and they went across the ocean as the lightning speared into the ocean.The waves were as big as a mountain.As hansel said to Gretel “praise for impact as the biggest wave emerged and struck like thunder hitting stormy clouds.”

And they washed up right in front of the wizards house.And immediately grabbed him they put him in a be-header and they pulled him up with their amazing might and they let it go like the waves le their mighty power go and.It was lights for the wizard. So the whole family was never ever seen again.

Plot line

This is a quick write we have ten minutes to write about something. This one was about the three little pigs. But we did it in a plot line.
